For TVS Next as a growing company, one third of our employees joined us during the pandemic and have been working from home since their time of joining. For all of them being new and not being able to physically be next to their team members in solving business problems, we felt the need to understand their engagement levels and also to understand what we need to improve on thru various interventions for making TVS Next a preferred employer and a great place to work.
We didn’t want to directly go for certification before a thorough understanding of our employees pulse. This is also the time we have launched targeting engagement activities, rebranded HR to People Experience and relooked at making our policies flexible and employee focused.
The Trust Index© Pulse elucidated in detail the areas we are doing well as an organization and areas where we need to focus us. This helped us to arrive at the roadmap for People Practice with targeted areas to focus. I would equate the Trust Index© Pulse to an annual medical report which is needed for every person as a preventive measure to see what to stop, what to start and what to continue.
I appreciate the collaboration and the systematic and meticulous interventions from the GPTW team in helping us take the Trust Index© Pulse, decode the results and craft a plan for focus areas. This is great partnership, Kudos to the team !!
I would suggest that every organization should do the Trust Index© Pulse in order to clearly assess the areas of focus, spend time to improve those and then the certification would be meaningful and worthwhile.
